4-Mallet Summer Workshop June 12th, 2025
Come spend a day reviewing various 4-mallet Stevens Grip techniques, learning fun exercises, and chopping out! We’ll be covering everything from basic techniques (block chords, rotations, permutations) to more advances concepts (extended octave grip, double and triple laterals, inside two runs) all while focusing on making great sounds on the instrument. This is a no-stress learning environment where you’ll be gaining knowledge from Bluecoats, KSU and Atlanta Quest’s own Claire Kenney.

For the price of $40, students will play a keyboard from 9 am to 5 pm, receive world-class instruction and get a fun t-shirt! The workshop will be held on June 12th, 2025 at Milton High School and lunch will be provided. Students should dress comfortably and bring one set of 4-mallets (medium hardness preferred). Along with paying on the website, please make sure you have registered on the google document found on the home page! More information will be sent out closer to the date after registration closes on June 2nd.
