4-Mallet Summer Workshop June 3rd ONLY - Beginner to Intermediate Skill Sets

Come spend a day reviewing various 4-mallet Stevens Grip techniques, learning fun exercises, and chopping out! We’ll be covering a wide variety of basic techniques: block chords, rotations, permutations, then begin talking through more intermediate skill sets like double laterals and inside two runs, all while focusing on making great sounds on the instrument. This is a no-stress learning environment where you’ll be gaining knowledge from Bluecoats, KSU and Atlanta Quest’s own Claire Kenney.

For the price of $60 a day (or $100 for a two-day pass), students will play a keyboard from 9 am to 3 pm, receive world-class instruction and get a fun t-shirt! The workshop will be held on June 3rd & 4th, 2026 at Milton High School and lunch will be provided. Students should dress comfortably and bring one set of 4-mallets (medium hardness preferred). Once registered, more information will be sent out closer to the date of the event.
